Project Overview
Cuckooland, a leading online furniture and homeware retailer, required a website redesign to modernise the user experience and improve conversion rates. The initial scope focused on a redesign of key pages with later work involving a full-site redesign along with a supporting, scalable UI Kit and Design System.

Discovery & Findings
Outdated User Experience
The existing design lacked clarity and modern appeal, making product discovery and browsing feel cumbersome and uninspiring.
Complex Navigation Structure
The mega nav was overly-optimised for SEO, causing an overlapping category structure that created friction for users browsing and finding products.
Inconsistent Visual Design
A lack of cohesion across components and layouts weakened brand perception and trust.

The PDP was re-imagined with a thoughtful user journey designed to build trust and encourage purchase decisions. Clear options reduced friction with smart upsell add-ons boosting conversion values.
